Portrait of Gold Coast based surfer Mick Fanning in black & white with yellow paint that represents Australian aboriginals as well as the zinc stripes that surfers use to protect their faces from the sun while surfing.
Background represents the Great Barrier Reef, one of the planet's most extraordinary natural wonders and part of Queensland must visit. My goal with this illustration is to raise awareness of keeping this extraordinary mosaic of coloured corals alive for future generations through surfing and art communities.

I painted everything digital on an iPad Pro using airbrushes charcoal.
