TYPONYM produces professional enterprise typeface families. The mission of the foundry is to create timeless typefaces that expand between existing conventions. To be expressive, the visual identity needed to reach beyond the doctrinaire minimalism that pervades branding in the design industry. To be timeless, it would resist ephemeral trends of current display typography. And, like all good branding, it needed to be inventive and unique yet still convey the essense of the brand proposition: a meticulous devotion to craft in the production of inventive, clean-sheet, broadly useful “workhorse” typefaces.
