In Turkey, there is a tradition of tying a red ribbon around the waists of brides. Unfortunately, these ribbons are tied around the waists of children too. Every year, thousands of children are forced into underage marriage. To help the children of tomorrow, we listened to yesterdays child brides. Collecting their messages and ribbons, we delivered both to people with the power to change the future: university graduates. Each diploma was tied with a ribbon that had previously been bound to a child’s waist and featured a unique message for each faculty.
