Concept

A four-part documentary series taking viewers inside the fiercely competitive world of Southland Conference basketball, following 24 men's and women's teams across 12 universities. Beyond the game, the series explores the ambition, sacrifice, and determination of student-athletes and coaches competing far from the national spotlight—where no one works harder or dreams bigger.

Execution

As Director, Executive Producer, and Writer, I led the series from concept development through final delivery, overseeing creative direction, field production, storytelling, and postproduction. Working with a lean production team, we coordinated filming across 12 campuses, captured intimate interviews and behind-the-scenes access, and shaped multiple storylines into a cohesive four-episode series—all in less than four months.

Results

Successfully produced and delivered a four-part original documentary series for ESPN+, bringing national exposure to the Southland Conference and spotlighting the personalities, rivalries, and untold stories behind its basketball programs.
