This documentary is about the 1984 NBA Draft, when the New Jersey Nets selected Oscar Schmidt but was unable to play due to his simultaneous commitment to the Brazilian national basketball team, by international rules at the time. The story follows the consequences of Oscar’s choice, his glorious career with the Brazilian National Team, and the tributes he received this year at the NBA All-Star Celebrity Game, when he finally made his long-awaited debut.
