A personal project inspired by both Renaissance paintings and psychedelic art, Cosmomorphia is a series of photo manipulations that represent the concept of becoming one with the Universe.

Renaissance paintings have been a source of inspiration for the lighting and composition of the portraits, whereas psychedelic art has offered up a psychonautic concept and the use of the Cosmos's own imagery as intricate models and patterns.

I created an image of a Human that is unbound by any laws of time and space, who explores the vastness and immensity of the Universe by searching within, and I generalised its appearance by eliminating elements that make humans recognisable: hair, ears, nose and mouth, thus making all people equal in the eyes of the Universe.
