A long time ago, in a city far, far away, I had the incredible opportunity to be part of the screen design and animation of Star Wars Episode VII: The Force Awakens

It was an amazing experience to have the chance to participate in a project of that magnitude, next to some of the best screen designers in the business, who went on to become friends. 

This FUI Reel is a montage of some of the work the whole team at BLIND did for the movie, mixed with some of the most visually iconic moments from the film. 

My work focused mostly on the Resistance Base, the X-Wings and the Millennium Falcon, for which I designed and animated a handful of screens and dashboard animations. Just a grain of sand in the grand scheme of things, but definitely a massive W for my inner child, who’s still stoked to have been part of this project even a decade later.
