My film experience spans being a dedicated and versatile 1st Assistant Director and Production Assistant with hands-on experience across feature films, short films, and documentary projects. Most recently, I served as the 1st AD on The Hook with West One Entertainment, overseeing logistical coordination to ensure smooth, on-schedule filming. My role involved facilitating clear communication between departments, managing resources, and upholding industry-standard safety protocols, making it possible to meet tight deadlines while prioritising well-being. I've also worked as a Production Assistant on A Caribbean Story, where I managed tasks like transportation logistics, equipment hire, and budget estimation, directly contributing to operational success. My ability to coordinate moving parts across diverse environments has been a key factor in achieving creative and practical goals.
In previous roles, I honed technical skills that strengthened my capabilities in fast-paced production settings. As a Logger on Netflix's Drive to Survive, I transcribed over 50 hours of footage, helping the team efficiently locate key moments and shape the narrative. My experience extends to technical operations, delivering broadcast-ready content for Digital Media Services, where I met international standards by implementing precise frame rate conversions and quality checks. Known for my organisational and problem-solving skills, I excel at maintaining a collaborative, goal-driven atmosphere and am recognised for fostering high morale and teamwork across production phases.
As a Researcher, I have a strong background in mythology, literature, and IP development. Recently, I completed a project on Celtic mythology for West One Entertainment, synthesising sources into a research pack with complex themes and historical insights in a clear, engaging format. In a separate role, I analysed a 30-book action-adventure series, creating beat sheets and screen-maps to adapt the series into film or television, helping bridge the gap between literature and screen. My work is marked by meticulous attention to detail, creative vision, and commitment to delivering content that resonates with audiences and enhances storytelling.
