ABOUT

Immigrant women have to take on a series of challenges that make their situation more difficult than normal. Some of these problems can be overcome if they don't know the tools that the Catalan environment offers them.

The Mujeres pa'lante project is a support space for women that provides information and support on: how to fix your immigration papers, how to strengthen yourself in difficult circumstances, provide Ideas and tools to find work and how to take new paths that allow you to assume greater work autonomy and how to continue with your studies. Solidarity and the care provided to clients and between workers is is their most valuable asset.

They needed a visual identity and I was in charge of the concept, design and layout.

I wanted to use pastel colours and sinuous shapes, because visually it reminds us of closeness and care, all key values in the cooperative and started from there to create the logo.

The logo visually communicates the following: variety of women working together. We can see it in how each line that forms the M is considered a woman who, when working together with others, gives way to the creation of different shapes (drops) and colours; these new creations refer us to the values of connection and cooperativism.

From this logo it was developed a pattern, from the drops, and is used in many different forms within their identity.

With these elements a wide range of graphic pieces were developed.
