In a world where women are constantly forced to conform to a male perspective, I was deeply inspired to capture women on film with a female lens. Young women are so often pressured to fill society’s expectations in work, in school, in relationships, in fashion, and in the entertainment industry. I wanted to create something that celebrates the rawness of a woman dancing around to their favorite song and in their favorite outfit. I wanted to showcase the power that every woman has by just putting on their favorite song and their favorite outfit. I want this to serve as a reminder that whenever you feel overwhelmed, or stressed, or feeling like you’re not enough…just put on your favorite song and dance that shit out. Nothing and no one can stop you. You are woman and you are strong.
