At MAD//Fest 2024, Solarflare Studio and Epsilon brought automotive history to life with cutting-edge augmented reality technology. Featuring a crafted replica DeLorean, attendees interacted with this iconic time machine, customising its design with personalised details and branded elements.
Our goal was to create an immersive AR experience that captivates attendees and aligns with Epsilon’s innovative brand narrative.
Using 8th Wall’s WebAR platform, we transformed the DeLorean into an interactive canvas. On arrival at the reception, visitors scanned a QR code to customise and explore the vehicle in real-time, capturing their creations from any angle and sharing them on social media for the chance to win prizes. Epsilon’s booth also featured branded print materials, custom furnishings, and a dedicated version of the AR experience to create a cohesive brand presence.
This collaboration sets a modern standard for interactive event experiences, blending automotive nostalgia with innovative technology to create unforgettable moments at MAD//Fest, taking over 12,000 attendees back to the future.
