This motion graphic was created to showcase the outstanding sustainability efforts of a holiday resort in Wales, as part of a brief to visualise the resort's journey toward Net Zero by 2040.

With a wealth of information to communicate, the challenge was to present it in a way that felt visually compelling as well as informative. I began by researching everything the resort has done to support this beautiful part of Wales and its community, uncovering facts that surprised even me along the way. That discovery made it feel all the more important to share this story.
The resort's philosophy that "sustainability is at the heart of everything we do" became the animation's guiding concept, with each element of the story unfolding inside a heart shape.
Visually, the piece mirrors the resort's own transformation: it opens in muted colour and slow, restrained movement, then gradually builds toward vibrancy, colour, and energy, reflecting the shift from where they started to the thriving, sustainable future they're working toward.
