ABOUT
The project centred around creating a comprehensive publication for Bluestone National Park Resort, communicating its Biodiversity Action Plan for 2020–2030. The aim was to bring together the resort’s long-term plans for biodiversity, habitat management, woodland, flora and sustainability, presenting detailed environmental information in a way that felt engaging, accessible and distinctly Bluestone.
Designed in Adobe InDesign, the publication uses a flexible editorial layout to balance technical information with strong visual storytelling. Clear typography and structured content sit alongside maps, infographics, photography and data, helping readers navigate complex information with ease. The colour palette follows the brand guidelines created for Bluestone’s CSR department, with blues, greens, pinks and warmer natural tones used throughout. Duotone photography further connects the imagery to this visual identity, while allowing key pages and sections to have their own character.
The result is a cohesive and approachable publication that transforms a detailed biodiversity strategy into something engaging and easy to understand. It reflects both the importance of Bluestone’s environmental commitments and its wider ambition to continue the regeneration and responsible management of the resort through to 2030.
