As a ReactJS / CSS Front End Developer, you will be responsible for planning, developing, and delivering high-performing web solutions for clients across the AKQA network and working closely with AKQA's teams of designers, UX specialists, technical developers and project managers. You must be motivated by work that is groundbreaking in its essence and execution. You will gain wide-ranging experience working with major UK and global clients. You will work in agile scrum teams to deliver exceptional customer experiences for major retail clients with the goal of pushing the boundaries of the possible. Skills and Experience

  • Development experience with JavaScript frameworks such as ReactJS, Backbone.js, and AngularJS, with a focus on enterprise-level mobile/responsive website projects.
  • Development experience with HTML5 / CSS / JavaScript / OOP / Design Patterns.
  • Experience with W3C website accessibility standards, JavaScript frameworks or custom jQuery plugins, search engine optimisation, and client interaction.
  • Experience with Foundation, Twitter Bootstrap, Material UI, or similar frameworks.
  • Cross-platform browser testing experience (Mac / PC / IOS / Android).
  • Photoshop skills (Intermediate or higher).
  • Strong understanding of performance and optimisation.

*Please note that this role will involve the candidate spending the majority of their time in Milton Keynes as part of a project team.
