ABOUT
For a lot of business owners, data can be complicated and difficult to relate to. And amongst a younger business audience, IBM can be seen as a bit behind the times.
But in reality, IBM is leading innovation across a range of new technologies - data analytics, social analytics, mobile and cloud.
We needed to get our audience to engage with IBM data, and help them understand the difference it could make to their businesses.
Instead of showing our audience what IBM has done for businesses in the past, we created a live case study that would be relevant to them at that specific moment. To do this, we used a topical event we knew they were already interested in – the Wimbledon Championships.
We produced real-time animations that used fascinating IBM data insights to enrich our audience’s experience of the tournament.
Throughout the two weeks, our pre-made films were populated with live stats as the action happened. The dynamic content gave fans new angles on matches and player performance – from the longest rally and fastest serve of the tournament, to what Murray needed to do to win his next match.
The short, fun, shareable content was uploaded to a variety of social channels for fans to enjoy wherever they were.
It showed our business audience how IBM data helps fans around the world gain a deeper understanding of the Championships. Which in turn, encouraged them to consider what IBM could do for their businesses.
