About me
I hold a 1979 B.A. Combined Honours degree in Philosophy & Sociology of the University of Ife (now called Obafemi Awolowo University). In 1983 I earned an Associateship Diploma in Shipping from the Cardiff Institute of Shipping Management in London, United Kingdom. I obtained an Advanced Certificate in Shipping and Petroleum Management from the Federal College of Technical Education, Akoka-Yaba, Lagos in the year 2001.
In the course of my career as a professional manager, I attended various courses and seminars relevant to Transport Management, Shipping Operations, Freight Logistics, International Trade, Total Quality Management, Strategic Planning Management, Personnel/Office Administration and Business Management. I am a member both of the Institute of Freight Forwarders of Nigeria (MIFF) and the Nigerian Institute of Management - Chartered (MNIM).
I have at various times worked as Shipping Officer for Marine Trade Nigeria Limited, as Operations Manager for Casche Nigeria Limited, as Senior Clearing and Forwarding Manager for Brawal Shipping Nigeria Limited, as Operations Manager for Duncan Maritime Ventures Limited, as Senior Operations Manger for National Clearing & Forwarding Agency and as Terminal Manager for Michelle Holdings Limited.
I now work for Coastal Services Nigeria Limited: firstly as Commercial Manager from January, 2010 to December, 2011. Presently, I am the General manager of the company since January, 2012.
Married with two (2) lovely children, I enjoy classical music, travelling and reading of books with true spiritual value.
