ABOUT
This was a 2017 ISTD brief about fickle fads and fashions where I chose to focus on Dr Martens. The boot was initially designed purely for work wear however became adopted by several British subcultures over the decades as a fashion statement. This is a high end magazine created to celebrate the life of Dr Martens and outline it's journey as it became as fad within the different subcultures. The magazine features yellow stitched binding to represent the iconic yellow stitching which has remained in the boot over many years.
