About me

My name is Emma Lewis, I'm a recent graduate with a 2:1 BA Hons in Graphic Design from The University of Bedfordshire.

I am looking for a role with graphic design as i am very keen to use the skills I have acquired over the last four years. I am very competent in all Adobe software but especially Indesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop. I have some knowledge of Dreamwaever and HTML but am keen to learn more. Over the past few years I have had experience working alongside design clients.

These have included working for as part of a team HVCA in London, helping with the design, layout and publishing of a recent handbook, I've also had experience of one on one with a client; being selected to design a logo for a Brighton based company, Pebble Office Supplies. During my time at U niversity a lot of my attention has been on my final major projects, in these i have developed my own style as a designer, learning about myself and what makes me tick. My passion lies with image making, particularly the use of digital and analogue montage. However I also have a keen interest in editorial design, having produced my own books for my exhibitions. I enjoy the challenge of creating design on a page, applying my focus for my eye to detail.

Last year my exhibition work was selected by Milton Keynes Gallery to be used in a exhibition of the top young designers in Milton Keynes. From this exhibition I was contacted by KKBB clubs to work as part of their design team for promotional print.

This year has been just a successful having exhibited at the D&AD New Blood in London. You can see more of my my work at *
