About me
An energetic, creative, motivated graduate keen to embark upon a new challenge. Looking to hone existing skills into a more specified, client-facing role - handling projects and creating solutions across the board, whilst exceeding expectations in a fast paced, hands-on role.
I currently work for a DM advertising agency as studio traffic manager/ planning assistant - all rolled into one. I manage multiple briefs, speculative projects and campaigns for DM packs, websites, landing pages, SMS, micro-sites, DRTV and press ads from strategic planning stages right through to print, publication and live dates. I ensure that all jobs are on budget, that client and production expectations are met and deadlines are stuck to. I create schedules, proof read and check production issues and, allocate work to creative teams, studio and digital departments. I work alongside account directors to help compile briefs and releases. I also project manage a few jobs to print and work closely with suppliers and clients.
Proficient in Microsoft office and Quark, and have experience using Indesign, Illustrator, FTP sites, flight check, Thomsons Intermedia, Flash, Google Adwords and Analytics and bespoke databases. I manage and maintain a blogger site too.
I was an account executive at a PR agency were I pitched, brainstormed and presented for big name Unilever brands, such as Vaseline, Timotei and Fosters. I wrote releases, organised events and liaised with brand managers and journalists.
