About me

Editorial design, branding, advertising are main areas of interest for me in design as it combines different areas that i enjoy, including pure graphics, illustration and photography. I have experience in working within a company and understands constraints of design, as well as loving a challenge. I have worked with in-house branding but i am looking for a more diverse role.

The attached cv shows a variety of my work, from university projects to personal work and business work. My favourite university projects include, a magazine design for university students that is about them personally, therefore titled 'U 'n' I'. The masthead reflects this again with a fingerprint style hand crafted font. The front cover is an illustration based on the main article, i think this attracts attention. It also stands apart on the shelf being packaged, including a gimmick fancy dress pack and buttons, relation to the fashion issue. I also designed posters and postcards for the Times newspapers' film magazine. This follows there slogan of 'Join the debate' by asking questions relating to cult films. They stand out in contrasting and bold black and white designs with a different bright colour to jump out at the 18-24 year old market. The headline is also positioned as in that of a newspaper.

I am very passionate about graphics and design and have good knowledge in photoshop, InDesign and Illustrator.
