ABOUT
This piece of work was part of my final major project for university in which we were tasked with creating and following our own brief to create a body of exhibition ready work. My project 'Natural Residue' explores the beauty found within processes of natural decay and transition and questions the archival nature of the photograph by creating impermenent images.
The images you see are are cyanotypes on bioplastic, a handmade fully biodegradable material which will break down over time and mimic natures decay allowing the theme of transition to be explored not just through imagery but the treatment of the material itself.
