From a very young age I have been interested in art and explored almost every different medium until I found photography. Photography is something that is still very important to me and I work as a photographer whilst at University. As creative as I am, however, I have always had a very scientific mind. I currently study Psychology at the University of St Andrews and find it fascinating to understand the way in which the mind works and the way people think.
I am hoping to combine my creativity and scientific nature through a career in marketing. I feel as if this will allow me to apply both my knowledge in art and in psychology. This allows me to approach problems from creative angles yet with scientific precision and attention to detail. During the past summer, I completed two marketing internships, one at a fashion company and the other at an education company. I thoroughly enjoyed my experience at both companies and would love to spend another summer expanding on my knowledge in marketing.
