Cassini is a self directed brief aimed to try and visual scent. I targeted the perfume industry as my audience and began to create a coding system that was both easy to read and visually pleasing. Each ring represents a certain scent from the fragrance wheel used in the perfume industry. The rings are then layered into 3 note categories to illustrate the life span of the perfume that it represents. Each note will be illustrated by the cassini rings to give an indication of what smell to expect from each stage of the perfume.
