ABOUT
The Smithsonian launched the American Spaces program in 2016, a series of museum locations created to showcase American culture in countries around the world, including India, Korea, Saudi Arabia, and Vietnam. These spaces teach individuals about American culture, study abroad options, and US history.
To accomplish this, 30 high-resolution, interchangeable, digital images sized 7×12 feet we designed. A balance of photography and illustration was used, to create several portraits of famous Americans, and transformed a number of iconic scenes into works of art through geometric, graphic illustrations.
