About me
The nature of my current experience combined with skills gained in my current position has prepared me for a number of roles across the post-production industry, and i am looking to continue my career by building on that experience and putting it to use within a exciting, fast-paced post facility. I started in the industry over 6 years ago after leaving university, starting as a runner for Clear Cut Pictures and taking every chance to learn new skills in my spare time and take the opportunity to sit in with other departments whenever the time arose. I then joined Technicolor as a member of the Library and Dispatch department which was a fantastic opportunity to join a world class Post-Production house with a huge history within the film and tv industry. After my first year with Technicolor i was given the opportunity to become a trainee in the MCR department which introduced me to whole new side of the post-production industry and really allowed me to become hands on with the more technical side of things in a large post house. And then in August 2018 i assisted in the dailies department as the sole dallies operator for the show Vera, which was an incredible chance to really see how a project begins and put a lot of the technical training I've received from the MCR department into practical use. After finishing my role in the Dailies department on that production i then moved into my full time position as a Data IO and Technical Operator in the MCR department at Technicolor in January 2019.
