My life used to be all about the work (the achieving, succeeding, grasping) until my early twenties, that was, when 'burnout' began and it was time for me to stop, take a breath and jumpy down the rabbit hole for a full-on core shaking, heart swelling, bum-planting-on-the-Earth experience. To be more specific, this experience involved my:
Realising something wasn't right
Making health and peace my priorities
Letting go of how I thought life should look and
Travelling to Thailand to meditate for 14 months
where I found
Then, in 2014, my firecracker of a creative drive drew me home to act, create and teach again. This time, however, I do these things while placing wellbeing at the centre of my priorities.
And it is from this prioritising of wellbeing that happiness, creativity and productivity grow like wildfire. I intend, each day, to find balance between doing and being; between being wildly creative and sometimes
It is this dual capacity for dynamic creation and stillness that I bring to all I do.
