Background
After launching in the US last year, Google’s plan to charge users for a premium YouTube experience is set to hit Europe in 2018. Not only will the subscription allow users to enjoy videos without ads and prerolls, it will enable them to listen to music whilst their device’s screen is sleeping and access exclusive music and video content.
