ABOUT

The aim of this project was to create a thoroughfare through a warehouse building in Bear Gardens, London, that is designed to help commuters with their daily lives. After the thoroughfare has been created the resulting parts of the building have uses that help to recreate a buzz of the city that changes throughout the day as the surrounding city changes. Within the space there is a food market, a tea apothecary and a cocktail bar.
The initial thoroughfare has been created by cutting through the building to reveal the original roof structure to the users on the ground floor.
