ABOUT

The aim of this project was to create a library, archive, study space for the art students at Goldsmiths University of London. It responds to the existing site by creating a very calm atmosphere for independent and group study, specifically with art students in mind. There are functional spaces for creativity as well as researching archive material and a place for student to exhibit their work. The existing features of the site have been left alone to keep the history of the building and the new element creates sightlines within the building to highlight the features to the users.
