About me

Hello , My name is Dan and my creative partner is Ellen. As a collective, we have been together for over two years working on campaigns for well-known brands along side companies such as VCCP, BBH, Ogilvy and Mather and BD Network. We've thought up concepts and ideas for big brands such as Coca-Cola, Lynx, Virgin Media, Ford and Nintendo. As a team, our most recent venture was at VCCP where we worked on briefs for clients such as npower, Zoopla, O2 and Nokia. This included writing TV and radio scripts as well as thinking of concepts for print and digital across all clients. Whilst at VCCP we also worked on various pitches, including one for eHarmony where two of our ideas where presented to the client. Our other recent venture was at BD Network where we found ourselves working for big clients such as Virgin Media, Nintendo, Coors Light and not forgetting, independently thinking of concepts and ideas for the whole of Coca-Cola's Olympic torch relay event. Currently we are working directly with Cancer Research on their new campaign to drive sales into stores nationwide. We have worked on all stages of the campaign from ideas and concepts right through to the design and photography. We have now been asked to deliver their next campaign, which is due to begin in the Winter time. Before copywriting, I was keeping busy gigging several nights a week up and down the country in various bands. In fact, until a year ago I knew very little about advertising. Ellen, however, has been in the business a lot longer than me, starting out as a junior creative at Ogilvy and Mather after finishing her degree in graphic design at Camberwell London College of Art in 2007. Together our contrasting personalities have proven to be an effective formula for thinking up fresh ideas and concepts. Ellen has the tendency to think big, often wacky, and sometimes weird. Whereas I favour a more realistic approach and have the task of coaxing her ideas back down to earth. We normally, somehow, find a happy medium between the two. And not always after a fist fight. Away from advertising, we like to keep up the creativity.We have recently just finished providing an illustrated animation for Paul McCartney's forth-coming tour, (take a look, *+_Seed/Paul_McCartney.html ). Ellen's also currently in the process of illustrating for Chas Hodges from everyone's favourite cockney band, Chas & Dave, and previously provided the design work for the Take That Circus Tour . I continue to waste my weekends performing to no one with my band, but like my mum says as long as I'm having fun, that's all that matters.
