I am interested in the Videographer position that is being advertised on creativepool.co.uk. My CV is enclosed for your review. Given my related experience and excellent capabilities I would appreciate your consideration for this job opening. I am pleased to submit my application because the requirements are closely matching with my education and qualifications.

You will see from my enclosed CV and that I have gained a wide variety of both transferable and specific skills, which relate to working in media:

Television experience: my work experience placement as a Runner BBC FLOG It gave me invaluable insight into the television process; with hands on experience of location shooting, studio filming, office work and general Runner duties. My time at Flog It required me to work with film crews and the general public. Team work and often very good communications skills were required.

Client experience: Whiles Studying I got to work with clients such as the BBC, NHS, Spool Films, St John and St Mary Church and Denizen Records. These projects included the Documentaries, Music Video and short films. These projects have given me the experience in working with clients and under tight deadlines.

Interest in the Media: My enjoyment and critical interest in the media (television, film, journalism, music, radio and new media) increased markedly throughout my degree, and has continued to grow since then. In my spare time I tend to make music videos for unsigned artists.

Computer skills: Through my studies and projects that I have been involved, I have gained a lot technical knowledge and creative experience in the use of standard industry equipment such as the Sony Z1, Sony Z5 and DSLR cameras, Final Cut Pro, Sound Track Pro, Adobe Premier pro and Logic.

Writing/research skills: My degree has proven my ability to express critical opinions within a sustained argument. A high level of research and analytical reading was essential to reach this standard. The experiences of writing articles/reviews, short film scripts and adapting a play have increased my confidence in these skills.

I can assure you that my life skills, drive to succeed and willingness to learn make me a strong candidate for this role. I possess all of the attributes you're looking for and I believe this position is a perfect fit.
