Brand Identity for a Pilates StudioBranding - Logo The Story:Manchester Square Studios is an established private Pilates studio in the heart of Marylebone in London. They also offer medical massage and physical therapy services.The Pilates @ Manchester Square Studios site was launched in 2016, and primarily featured the private pilates services of the studio, while also mentioning the massage options available.Since then there have been a few small updates to the pricing or instructor roster, but the business (at least online) has remained primarily the same.The Brief:The studio has expanded its services, and this needs to be reflected in the new website.What is now needed is to have a focus on massage therapies and physical therapy equally along with Pilates, as before we were primarily Pilates-focused.The website is dated and not mobile-friendly, so a redesign was necessary to improve the professional look and further improve the SEO to increase the online visibility of the studios.
Logo presentation: the conceptPilates, physiotherapy and massage will give you greater flexibility, strength, stability, and mobility in your body and life. It could a real game-changer, especially if you’re recovering from an injury.This is the transformation the customers are looking for when frequenting the studios.We have focused on the keywords of wellness and energy. In extension, the refreshing effect that the services provided have on your body and mind, and the soothing ripple effect.To communicate this desire transformation into visuals, we have selected some bright colours, for the high level of positive energy they convey. Blue and turquoise from the previous website have been kept, but in updated shades to be more actual.Typography:Keeping in mind that we want to convey a sense of fit and balance, a sans-serif font was the right choice. This type of font is clean, modern, stable and dynamic.
Web design: We created a new modern and responsive website.Your website should contain all the relevant information about your business but should be simple enough that it is obvious to the user at first glance. It is important to provide the information clearly and instantly to retain the attention of the visitor.In order to accomplish that, a hierarchy is implemented by using powerful imagery and large titles to allow visitors to scan the website within a few seconds.We have highlighted the different services of the studios equally and focused on their benefits to increase the success of the business.
