For years, Bezeq International's iconic parrot brand character was a familiar sight. As the main illustrator, I was responsible for bringing this character to life from almost day one. The company frequently requested illustrations of the parrot for various design projects, including one as unlikely as a boxing ring. Being the biggest ISP in Israel, I had many opportunities to illustrate their beloved parrot for many diverse projects.
Since it appeared, from time to time, in TV commercials where they used 3D graphics with live actors, the company wanted my illustrations to resemble 3D graphics. So I developed a unique method to illustrate the parrot in Photoshop in a technique that mimics 3D graphics (while using actual 3D graphics from time to time).
