It had been a while since I last focused on portrait photography, but during a walk with Daria through the cherry blossom park, I felt inspired. The soft spring light caught in her eyes in such a unique way that I couldn't resist capturing the moment. There was something serene and honest about that afternoon—something I wanted to preserve through the lens.
I shot this series using the Ricoh GR III with its 28mm lens, which allowed me to stay close and unobtrusive, keeping the portraits natural and intimate.
