Throughout my final year at university I had to create and design a 6 outfit collection. This entailed thorough research to build a strong concept and design aesthetic, followed by designing and toiling of each garment, critically analysing the details and the coherence of all the garments as a collection. I had to make important decisions about my work continuously. I pattern cut and sewed all of the garments in my collection including three garments made from leather, three bias cut dresses from 100% silk and tailored pieces. Alongside my collection I had to create a portfolio expressing my concept and collection in a visually appealing way. I included hand drawn illustrations and CAD drawings.
