About me

I am a dedicated and highly motivated individual who thrives in a challenging and demanding environment. I have worked mainly in professional theatre, setting up a company whilst still at drama school which went on to international success. I am as capable an arts manager/administrator as I am a creative artist, my main field of interest being contemporary performance and performance art.

Following graduation with a first class degree in European Theatre from Rose Bruford college, I continued to work with my company 'Zecora Ura Theatre' for a short while before a difference of artistic aims arose and I decided to pursue other interests outside of theatre.

I entered into the hospitality industry because I am fascinated by the immediacy and intensity of customer relationships in such situations. I joined the Zerodegrees group because of their interest in open kitchen/performance cookery and, what they call "a theatrical dining experience", after six months of working for the company I was offered the job of assistant manger at their flagship venue in Blackheath, and after 9 months there I was promoted to trainee GM and then eventually GM. This position has left me experienced in money handling (£40K+pw), stock control, meeting targets, staff training, leading and motivating a team of 45+ staff, and the creative vision needed to take a business forward.

I am now seeking to develop my creative potential in a company that can offer me more diverse career prospects.
