Dear Sir / Madam,
I recently came across your job advertised for a Graduate Graphic Designer / Creative and felt I fit the required criteria. Having recently graduated from Loughborough University with a 2:1 in Graphic Communication, I have a strong skills and knowledge into the industry and following briefs tailored to clients needs.
My work tackles a variety of briefs, which employ communication, creativity and innovative ideas. I merge my design skills with communication skills to create contemporary design solutions. Inspiration for my work has grown from a diverse range of influences, which include peers, tutors and designers, which has lead to me to want to achieve as a designer.
I believe that the role of visual communication does not end in its deployment, but in its effect. Based on this, I consider myself a maker who strives for positive change through problem solving and innovation. I am someone who is constantly looking for design to improve or fix in drastic yet subtle ways that bypass any potential struggle for end users.
My ongoing interests are in brand identity, editorial design, user experience design and art directing. Regardless of the topic however, I will tackle any design brief head on with great enthusiasm and a willingness to learn.
First and foremost a problem solver with a meticulous work ethic, I aim to produce work to the highest standards and quality.
