Ekstasy London

ABOUT

Seagate wanted to create a brand awareness campaign to promote it's hard drives within the video gaming community. Ekstasy managed the project end to end, from concept to delivery. Ekstasy only had 6 weeks from concept approval stage to build the wireless technology, train the fighters, built the set, 3D printed the game consoles, organise and film the event and produced the event viral video. Nearly all the visitors at Thorpe Park on one of the coldest days of the year visited and interacted with the installation. Over 111,000 organic views in three months. Localised in 5 languages for Russian, German, Turkish, French and British Markets. Call to Action post video was to play a quiz and find your “Fighter Mojo”, which you then share on social network. Over 24,000 played the quiz and nearly 3,000 bought the product which came as a pleasant surprise as Revenue was not the objective for this campaign.

Connecting with video gamers by building and installing an interactive game in Thorpe Park, with subtle Seagate branding.

We decided to bring the Street Fighter video game back to life in a physical space, where video gamers control real human fighters on stage using a large 3D printed console and bluetooth technology.
