Dear Sir or Madam,

I am writing to you to apply for the Graphic Designer position at AF selection. I recently graduated from the University of Central Lancashire, UK in the field of Graphic Design. Currently I am doing my MA in Fashion Communication and Marketing in Nottingham and finishing end of July. My project aims to research and analyse the marketing strategies of an Italian luxury fashion brand. I chose Versace, as the Italian fashion house Versace is considering an initial public offering in the next few years, which could help the brand expand even further than it has recently. But this expansion could lower its prestige and brand exclusivity. My aim is to understand new elite consumers needs and wishes to improve Versace's luxury marketing strategies in response to changing consumer behaviour. This changing marketing strategy requires a deeper investigation for the brand's future. I aim to examine the brand history of Versace and explain the term of sexuality by showing its connection to luxury. I will explain the role of sexuality in Versace and identify how it is the key part of the brand. Aim to understand how Versace could grow the brand whilst having the sense of sexuality and exclusivity by developing the marketing strategies. This in order to lay the foundation for the coming research and to create a theoretical connection to the results.

My cv outlines my education details and work experience in more depth, but I would like to draw to your attention my recent experience in Cricket Fashion, in Liverpool. As junior graphic designer for a luxury e-commerce website, I was given the responsibility of designing the creative layouts for landing pages and online editorials, image research and creating digital images for all social media platforms to an excellent standard under the tight restrictions of the fashion companies that we collaborate. As well as having the technical knowledge you require, I believe I also possess valuable personal qualities. I am extremely hardworking and always welcome a challenge. I enjoy a busy environment and would be so excited by the prospects of developing my communication skills further.
