ABOUT

Rose&Ivy: a corporate style for a florist from France, which emphasises the elegance and wisdom of flowers

This is a young brand of a girl florist from France, a suburb of Paris, who with great love and soul to her work collects elegant floral compositions for different occasions: personal meetings, weddings, events and shows of big brands. The main difference of Rose&Ivy is an individual approach to each bouquet. This is detailed, painstaking, literally jewellery work, the result of which are unique compositions of delicate flowers. The main flower of the brand is the garden rose, and it was based on this fact that we decided to think through the deep ideas that we put into the identity.

The task: to create an elegant, clean, feminine image for the personal brand of a florist from France, which will distinguish the specialist from competitors. The main feature will be a well-thought-out corporate style, where every detail is maximally honed, like floral compositions consisting of perfect petals and leaves.Solution: the metaphor for the identity was the symbolism of the ‘language of flowers’, telling us that ‘flowers can talk’ or ‘flowers that talk’.

The idea is based on the meanings of silence, mystery, secret, love and nobility. the message is that ‘the main thing’, deep and real, does not need to be shouted, it can be said without words by giving a delicate, refined and reflective bouquet to the girl and it will tell about what is inside.

The logo has a font part, a descriptor and a brand name. The font of the logo is an elegant, sophisticated antique with serifs representing the neat, sharp thorns of roses. The logo conveys a sense of premiumness, the typeface has second-order associations, unobviously telling us the scope of the business.
