The challenge
Already a successful taxi-ordering app in Israel, Get Taxi wanted to be the talk of the town in London too. They knew that this required more than simply changing the text to English and instead tailoring the brand to attract the savvy British market. So, they spoke to us!
Our response
Once we had developed a tongue-in-cheek attention-grabbing identity, we introduced the new shiny brand to the business market with an event in Canary Wharf designed to hail the app’s arrival and get people’s tongues wagging. With a line of taxis wrapped in bold messaging teamed with oversized banners, floor graphics and conversation-starting handouts, potential customers were invited into a cab for a shoe shine or manicure. You could say it was a perfectly polished brand launch!
So with customers onboard, all that was needed were drivers. We tweaked the language so it spoke to cabbies in the right tone of voice and on their wavelength. This formed the foundations of a quirky driver recruitment campaign with posters, branded air fresheners, driver packs and a fun newsletter. This is a brand that is really going places (with a little help from us!).
