Statement Magazine was part of my thesis project for the School of Visual Arts in 2007,
The point of departure for this project begun by creating a name and logo as it slowly developed
into a specific language that can be seen through out the entire publication.

The initial concept was to create a Political and Political Art Magazine that addresses international issues with an emphasis on directing my readers through typography design that creates tension between the visual implementation and the written text itself.

It was important for me to communicate my personal political agenda which includes the entire spectrum from left to right wing.
