One of the challenges I have recently set myself is to create images with a clear concept and composition from the start, and to deliver in shorter space of time. The goal is to avoid sweating over details and creative cul-de-sacs that do not benefit the strength of the image as a whole.

This painting took around 6 hours, which may seem like a while until you realise that many older images ran into the 30-40 hour mark.
