ABOUT

Herd was an illustrated short story book I designed in response to Noam Chomsky’s Media Control: The Spectacular Achievements of Propaganda. Herd is a surrealist interpretation of consumer culture from the standpoint of call operator Joshua Washleigh, who lives a fairly usual life until he suffers from a propaganda-induced hallucination that changes his life forever. The story was inspired my Chomsky’s ideas of ‘The Responsible Man’ and ‘The Bewildered Herd’.
