About me

I have recently finished a temporary role at a top advertising and digital agency. In this role I gained quality experience of writing research documents and formulating brand positioning ideas. Primarily I worked to produce an in-depth research document on the competitor landscape & brand positioning of a Middle Eastern Financial Client. Additional projects involved helping deliver branding and advertising proposals to a top UK insurer, a leading Asset Management Firm and New Look. Wrote engaging social media content for Pernod Ricard online community, as well as successful Facebook advertisements.

Prior to this I worked at J.P. Morgan, supporting an equity derivatives trading desk. This was a high pressure and extremely demanding role, from which I can demonstrate a proven record of attention to detail, delivery of projects and collaboration with colleagues. At times I worked with the JPM corporate communications team, gaining experience of how a major brand interacts with the media.

At university I gained a substantial amount of public speaking experience, being elected onto the debating society committee and competing in eleven university competitions. As a result I became highly adept at crafting persuasive narratives and arguments in a short amount of time, then communicating them effectively. I have an equally strong record of written communications, regularly gaining very high essay marks and specific commendation of my writing style.

I have a strong educational, communicative and commercial background. I want to work in communications because I believe it is the environment best suited to deploying and developing these skills.
