Aquascutum announced the return of the made to measure tailoring service at London’s Great Marlborough and Jermyn Street stores. Aquascutum were looking to have some commercial shots taken of the process within their Jermyn Street Store.

After some initial planning and a recce we fixed a date to shoot a model along side a trained tailor for the fitting, this was to convey the how the customer exerience would look in store. Fortunately we had an extremely large mirror to work with within the store itself. We decided to go for a narrow field of light, just enough to highlight he dynamic between the subjects. We controlled the lighting using only one portable flash hedad, masked with a grid so we there was minimal light spill on the backdrop. Reflectors were on hand for any esential fills required. After we were happy with the shots in store we then moved onto the studio for a few shots of the final sewing and production of the finished suit.
