ABOUT

A graphic exploration of an iconic building in my home town that is about to have a tragic ending. The classic modernist crescent which in the past was synonymous with a new way of life became a vertical favela in the middle of the richest neighbourhood in Recife, Brazil. The Holiday Building, is absolutely empty today, a colossal ghost awaiting its fate, gentrification or demolition.
