In rugby, homosexuality is a still taboo. Even Gareth Thomas, the famous rugby star, waited to retire before announcing his homosexuality. And in the Top 14, the biggest league in the world, with over 1,500 pro players, no one has ever officially come out. The data says it all: in rugby, 75% of players would not feel comfortable talking about homosexuality. For Pride Month, this data was placed in the most visible place: on the field.
