ABOUT

The Eden Project, located in Cornwall, United Kingdom, is a world-renowned botanical garden and environmental education centre. It consists of two large biomes, which are iconic structures resembling giant bubbles or geodesic domes. The biomes house thousands of plant species from around the world, each carefully curated to represent different ecosystems such as rainforests and Mediterranean climates.

The first biome, known as the Tropical Biome, replicates the conditions of a tropical rainforest, with high humidity and temperatures. It is home to a vast array of tropical plants, including bananas, cocoa, and rubber trees. The second biome, the Mediterranean Biome, showcases plants from Mediterranean climates, such as olive trees, grapevines, and citrus fruits.

In addition to the biomes, the Eden Project features outdoor gardens, exhibitions, and educational programs focused on sustainability and environmental conservation. It has become a popular tourist destination, attracting visitors from around the world who come to marvel at its architectural wonders and learn about the importance of preserving biodiversity and protecting the planet's ecosystems.
