HSC Workforce Appeal, was established by the Department of Health to manage the urgent temporary workforce needs of Northern Ireland’s health and social care system during the pandemic.

Since its inception in 2020, the HSC Workforce Appeal has successfully managed over 100 campaigns, generating a staggering 41,000 candidate applications across various sectors, including health and social care, as well as administration and support services. These efforts have resulted in over 7,000 appointments across the system, ensuring vital support for our healthcare infrastructure.

I'm immensely grateful to have been part of such a transformative journey and to have worked alongside a team dedicated to excellence and innovation. Together, we proved that with passion, creativity, and vision, anything is possible.
